St. Clare's Retreat CenterSt. Clare's Retreat Center is operated by Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows, a Catholic community of Religious Sisters begun in China in 1939. The community fled communism in 1948 and began missionary ministries elsewhere, including California, Oregon, Canada, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
